His professional achievements include the ownership and management of a building development partnership in
Boston, followed by a real estate career developing and selling recreational and residential properties, including lakefront, island waterfront, mountain estates, resort development sites, and remote island properties.
Leigh and his wife Julian, a writer and translator, are dedicated to their blended family of four children. They are enthusiastic world travelers, having lived and traveled in Europe, Asia, and India. Currently residing in Kerrisdale, Leigh has a strong commitment to community action. He is a member of a non-profit society providing residential support to adults with intellectual disabilities in the Lower Mainland and a Director on the Vancouver Heritage Foundation Board.
